The results are a curated discovery list, not a claim to contain every event that happened on that date or an original EgoTools history archive.
A date such as 20 July can connect to events from many different years; the recurring month/day is the common link.
If the external API is unavailable, EgoTools should show that limitation rather than fabricate replacement history.
